see? I'm a princess
my parents divorced before I was born and I am thankful for that, not that they divorced, but that they did so before I was born so I never had to go through that traumatic experience that so many kids do have to go through. I have two little sisters, an 11 year old sister who lives with my mom and I, and a 7 year old sister who lives with my dad in florida. although I am the oldest child in my immediate family most of teachers and mentors think I act more along the lines of a youngest child. I don't know why, maybe it's becasue I was raised around adults, or that I was five when my little sister was born, or that I just still think of myself as a little princess who should get everything she wants.
the most memorable part of my summer was camping at the Oshkosh air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. this summer was my second year going and it is definitely an interesting experience. I am not really an outdoorsy person.. at all, but getting to spend the week with my jogie (jogie is what I call my grandfather, it's polish for grandpa) and all of his friends that I have grown up around but don't get to see much makes it all worth it. since my jogie, dad, and uncle are all pilots, and my dad lives in Florida, I have grown up around places. I started flying by myself when I was 4, but even to begin with I was never one of those babies who cried that whole flight. I am learning to fly and once day I will have my pilots license but for now I'm too scared to do my solo, an hour in the plane all by myself? no thank you! I don't even have my drivers license yet! the air show was fun, but honestly anything with my jogie is fun. he is my favorite person in the world and if I had it my way, he wouldn't live in Maryland/Florida, he would live in Lexington, Kentucky so I could see him everyday. with that in mind, if I could have any super power, it would be teleportation. so that i could see my grandparents whenever I wanted.
this is my jogie and me at their house in Maryland when I was little
my goal for this school year is to not be so lazy. taking four ap classes is a very big commitment and to do as well as I know I can it is going to take a lot of hard work. I plan on doing all of my homework, and studying for all of my tests.
in my opinion I think I am a pretty easy person to get along with, I usually go with the flow and take life as it comes. I am looking forward to a good year!
