My good friend John
My toilet, John, is a track star. He loves to run. We've never actually seen how fast he is, but we sure have heard him. We know he sees life as a race, and he's determined to take first place. He likes to see what speed he can reach, or how long he can go. Sometimes he just wants to build up his endurance to run all day. Bill, the guy who keeps up with how much water we use, loves to give us huge numbers on those days. But John is dependable. When he's not running, we know he isn't going anywhere. He wants to get close to us, or my cat when we aren't home. He likes taking on other people's troubles, if you know what I mean. He wants to help. Unless he wants to cause trouble. He loves scaring the cat, just randomly running around. She jumps. He thinks it's hilarious. I can't blame him, though, because it is. She gets over it eventually. He also likes to cause trouble by making a mess, but he hasn't done that in a while. We also have to take care of his little sister, Loo. She's the true problem child. Just last week she decided to make a fuss and cry all over the floor. Thankfully John was able to talk to her while we all slept and worked out her problem; she was better by morning.
