10/11, a time odyssey

I decided the best thing to do was to wikipedia a date I could make a witty pun on so i did the 11th and found that this day doesn't exist in 1582 in certain countries because of the Gregorian calender being implemented so my question is this. What happened that didn't happen? Since the day doesn't exist whatever happened didn't happen so what would you do if you had the ability to have a day that no longer exists? I think I would simply sleep through it. I'm afraid of what I might learn on that day. I am kiknd of tired of this mental effort so I think I'm gonna go find another event... Ok even better SNL started its broadcast on the eleventh in 1975. This has had a huge impact on pop culture. I mean what would our lives be without Taco Town or Baby Spankx? I mean it truly changed comedy and our sense of humor in general the impact of this not existing I don't even want to imagine.
