On October 8th 1971 John Lennon released his song "Imagine". This was very good thing because it is one of my favorite old songs because of its beauty and the message it sends. This song was so good, and so beautiful, that it was able to move millions of people all over the world with the message that it sends, and to this day I have never met a person who would say it is a bad song. I definetely appreciate this event because it is nice to see how music has the capability to affect so many people. Especially because most music being made today would not be classified as "moving" or "beautiful". So looking back to that day I can certainly be thankful that this song was made for the people to enjoy.
